Caring for your health with NHS and private appointments at the counter or in the consultation room.
Travel vaccinations
Our pharmacist can provide expert advice, vaccinations and malaria prevention options suited to your travel plans. Bring your itinerary so we can match protection to the countries you will visit. Private travel clinics are booked in advance.
NHS contraception service
We give people a greater choice of where they can access oral contraception. Eligible patients can start or continue a supply after a confidential conversation with the pharmacist.
Pharmacy First
The NHS Pharmacy First service allows our trained pharmacist to provide advice and, where appropriate, treatment for seven conditions. You will not always need a GP appointment. See the seven conditions.
Emergency contraception
Our pharmacist can supply emergency hormonal contraception following unprotected sex after a short and private consultation. The sooner you come in, the more options remain open.
NHS blood pressure tests
We can take your blood pressure to find out if you are at risk and provide the follow-up information you need. If readings are raised, we explain the next step with your GP.
COVID vaccinations
Our pharmacy operates a walk-in and booked Pfizer clinic for eligible patients. Ask at the counter which sessions are running this season and whether you need an appointment.
Minor ailment scheme
Get advice and treatment for minor conditions where the scheme covers them and treatment is clinically appropriate. We will tell you honestly if a GP or urgent care is a better place to go.
New Medicine Service
Our pharmacist will discuss how you are getting on with a newly prescribed medicine and answer questions about side effects, timing, and what to do if you miss a dose.
Flu vaccinations
We offer seasonal flu vaccinations as a private service and on the NHS for eligible patients. Autumn clinics fill quickly, so ask early if you care for someone at higher risk.
NHS smoking cessation
We provide help and support if you want to stop smoking, through the NHS. That can include nicotine replacement and follow-up conversations while you quit.
Supervised consumption
We can supervise medication so it is taken safely for the patient, their family, and the community. Appointments are discreet and arranged with the prescriber.
Appliance dispensing
We provide access to a range of products and items for patients who need ongoing support, including stoma and continence appliances ordered against a prescription.
